E4DP is a high performance 4" deep louver with a drainable blade feature to channel water away from the blades. This feature allows higher air intake velocities before entraining water. If your application is air intake, consider this or other drainable louvers first. If this louver will not handle your intake velocities, consider a deeper louver or a wind driven rain louver instead (E6DP, E6WH).
The High Performance series will handle higher intake velocities with lower pressure drop across the louver. These models have the added benefits of higher free areas and allowing greater air velocities before entraining water.
